The real me?

I'm having a really hard time trying to fall asleep. When that doesn't work it's always best to keep your mind off it. Now what am I thinking? I'm thinking that for the longest time I've been living a double life where I enjoy one than the other. My alter ego is a rebellious sweet but cool person who can be scary but still and hopefully approachable. The me I live around the family is a trouble maker but the loner who has a hard time connecting with jokes and girls. I'm working on being a better person just to get by. Not like I'm stressed enough

The Kangaroo

I wrote a short story on my first Prom asking. It's really cute. I changed the names to protect his identity though.

The Kangaroo
When one becomes a junior in high school, what does that person first think? Well there is SAT, ACT, and colleges to think about; however, there’s one thing to look forward to than being an upper classman. It’s Prom. But who do I ask? How do I ask? Actually, there is a way to ask. It depends on how you ask and your actions on it. This is my story of my first Prom asking to a boy named Kel.
It was in the middle of April around the afternoon. I looked at the birth of new flower popping out of the trees.  I drove to Taco Bell to get two of the seven layered burrito, two drinks of mountain dew, and a drink for my sister Grace. Since I was still learning how to drive, my father was in shot gun. He drove me the rest of the way to Kel’s house after the trip to Taco Bell. Beforehand, I asked for Kel’s address and if he was home today. I was so determined to make this the perfect prom proposal. I called to make sure he was still at his house. Once I was able to confirm he was alone in his house, my plan was in motion.
I lied to him, “Yeah driving was such a disaster today. It was so bad that my father had to drive me home. I’ll talk to you later when I get home.”  I stared between the driver’s seat and shotgun as if it was the light in the end of the tunnel.
We drove into Kel’s neighborhood. His house was two blocks away from Quimby Park in the east side of San Jose. I opened the side of the car door, collected my prom gift, and looked at his house. The color of the house itself was of a light shade of green. I walked across the grass which had wasps and bees wandering low within the grass. I walked past pans of cat food and water from the outdoor cats he fed towards his light brown door. My sister was right behind me to take pictures of this event. Then a thought occurred to me. What if I prank him and we could laugh about this for years to come?
Satisfied with this idea, I started to kick the door and growled in a deep voice, “This is the police. We know you’re keeping crystal meth in there!!!” I kicked the door a couple of times more.
After 4 minutes, I hear a frail feminine voice answered my rampage, “Who is it?”
In shock and horror I answered her question with, “Oh my God, I am so sorry Mrs. White. My name’s Cai. I’m just asking Kel to prom.”
The woman opened the door enough so that I could see her face. She asked again and I repeated myself. I explained to her I was playing a joke and just wanted to scare Kel and that all I was doing was asking him to my prom.
She asked if he knew I was here because he didn’t answer the door and I answered, “No, this was supposed to be a pleasant surprise.” She promised to keep it a secret and went upstairs to Kel to tell him to come downstairs.
Apparently she told him that, “SomeTHING is at the door.” I waited anxiously for him to walk down the stairs. I was thinking how I was going to ask him since my plan just blew up in my face. My train of thought was interrupted when I heard slow footsteps down the stairs. Kel’s head was looking down. He was wearing a sweater hoodie that had stripped colors of white, light blue, and darker blue. He looked up to see me. I could see happiness in his face. I gave him the taco bell I bought that day for him and told him to open the box. Within the box is a Kangaroo with a paper that says, “I am ‘hopping’ you will go to prom with me”. He gave me a big hug and thanked me. We then discussed about his point of view during this whole ordeal. After having a friendly chat, I asked how his grandma was doing.
He reassured me by calling out to his grandma, “Hey grandma, are you ok?”
He was answered with silence. “Grandma?”
He repeated himself, but with his voice cracking. He walked towards his family room and turned his head right and came back, “She’s fine.”
My sister continued to take pictures. After she was satisfied with the amount of pictures she took, she walked toward the car, “Come to the car when you’re done.” I looked back towards her direction
“Sure, no problem,” I answered. Kel and I talk for a couple more minutes.
“Sorry, I have to go now, my dad’s in the car and I don’t want to keep him waiting.” He and I met eyes. It was getting at the point that all words escaped my mouth.
“No, no it’s fine. Thanks for coming by and asking me to prom.” I gave him a quick smile, hug, and waved at him. I ran out as fast as I could to the car and slammed the door. I went to my father and explained the whole entire event while we drove home with Grace. Once I got home I Facetimed Kel on how embarrassed I was and asked how his grandma was doing. I found out about his point of view during this event.
Looking at my horrendous green colored room, I listened to the girl I started to like again.
“Yeah driving was such a disaster today. It was so bad that my father had to drive me. I’ll talk to you later when I get home.” I felt bad that she still couldn’t drive. On top of that, she’s a terrible driver.
“Yeah, not problem. Talk to you soon”. She hung up. Damn, her voice was even quavering as if she was going to burst into tears.
I put on my headphones, turned the music up, and started to watch random YouTube videos. I felt bad for my friend that I’ve known since the first Bellarmine mixer. It felt like 20 minutes passed as I clicked on different videos one after each other. I started to consider doing my homework since it was the weekend of the afternoon. My procrastination urge was much stronger, so I told myself I’d start it until Sunday night. Before I could finish my stream of consciousness, my grandma knocks on the door.
“Hey Kel.” She starts off. I took off my headphones and looked at her. Her eyes were wide open, but after our eyes met, she looked away.
“Hey Grandma,” I try to say in the most casual way possible.
“I just want to say something’s at the door.” She said.
She started to walk downstairs. I remembered last night there was a person in a hoodie standing outside our house late last night with his/her back facing us around 2 a.m. I looked at the new baseball bat I got and considered bringing it with me. She did say “something”. I went downstairs slowly with my head low, planning what I should do if anything bad happens. I looked up to see my friend Caroline standing at the bottom of the stairs holding a blue box and Taco Bell. I smiled widely. I knew she didn’t drive and that her house was a little far from mine. Her coming all the way here was never considered.
“Hey Kel, I’m here to ask you to my Prom.” She hands me the box. I opened the box to see a kangaroo and a note that was decorated in the color of green, cartoon figurines of cats all of the side of the page, and a letter reading, “I am ‘hopping’ you will go to prom with me”.
“It says hoping…But I put hopping because the stuff animal is a kangaroo”.  She looked down. Her face was very flustered as if she was exercising. She sounds as her usual self, bubbly and hyper.
I broke the silence quickly and said, “I’m so surprised you’re here.” She looked up with a big smile.
“Do you like it?” She asked. I couldn’t stop staring at the gift. It was so creative and sweet. Wait…Did she bring me Taco Bell also? I placed the food next to the stairs.
I looked up, “Yeah I love it”
She smiled again, “Do you like the kangaroo?” This is a Kangaroo? Oh it is…There’s a baby kangaroo within the pouch but was attached with elastic.
“I thought it was a bunny”, her sister interjected. I didn’t even realize she was there. Grace was snapping pictures every 10 minutes.
“I thought that also,” I mentioned.
“How’s your grandma? I didn’t mean to scare her. I was kicking the door because my hands were full-“
“You kicked my door?” my voice went high pitched again. This girl is unbelievable and even possibly borderline crazy, but maybe that’s what I really like about her.
“My hands were full and I just wanted to pull a prank” Caroline tried to reason with me. I made a little smile.
I then explained how my parents were out to Boston for work because they are in law enforcement. She explained how her prank started with pretending to be a cop. I told her that wouldn’t work so well because my father could have arrested her for impersonating a cop. Her eyes widened. I changed the topic and we talked maybe for a couple of minutes before she asked about my grandma. I called out to her to reassure that my grandma is fine; however, she didn’t answer back. So I walked towards my living room to check on her. She was ok.  We talked a little more until she mentioned that her dad was waiting for her outside with her sister. We hugged and I watched her back as she left to her car and drove home. I picked up the Taco Bell and put it in the Fridge for dinner. I went back to retrieve the box and brought it upstairs. I placed the paper with my awards from baseball and the Kangaroo on my desk. I went back to what I was doing before this event happened. After maybe 20 minutes, I get a Facetime call from Caroline.
“OMG I can’t believe I made a total idiot of myself to your grandma.”
My grandma passed by my room and said, “Yeah I almost brought my gun to the door, but when I looked the peephole and saw how tiny she was I thought to myself, ‘I can take her’”.

I also mentioned to Caroline how I almost brought my bat and the suspicious person outside my house the night before. She and I video chatted for hours. That’s what we did the next day, the day after that, and the day after that. Rush of adrenaline went through my system as I thought how she’s going to my prom, and I to hers.

Stream of Consciousness....

Oh my, I've been swamped with Scholarship Applications, College Application, Common Application, School, Dance, Projects, Volunteering, and spending time with the family. Usually I have time to write about how I am, but the beginning of this year wasn't the best. My boyfriend broke up with me and it wasn't the prettiest thing in the world.

Then I learned I missed a fashion show tryout at this high school which was a bummer also. I don't want to sound all depressing and all, but I've had some good things. Like a lot of girls have been talking to me this year so that's a plus. I went to a BBQ and all the guys thought I was a freshman in high school. It was a little weird because I'm 18. Hopefully this look will stay that way for the next 40 years before I get menopause and look ancient like all the other Asian aging process.

After I finish writing this, I'm going to finish my homework because I haven't started it yet. Wow my mind is going everywhere on this post. Probably because I haven't been on for a while and have so much to write. My cat Romeo is still good but he's 16 lbs now. I decided to put him on the diet. So far I get eyes of betrayal out of that cat.

Since my older sister, classmates, and even Netflix have recommended me to watch this show, it might have just been a terrible mistake. Has anybody watched "American Horror Story?" It's really good, but it's really creepy and I guess I can't get over the creepy part yet. Apparently it got many awards, but the ending was just confusing and I hate bittersweet endings. I'm one of the people who watch funny chick flicks.

I started my SAT class last Saturday. It was just a test taking experience so they can see what we can compare to next time. From my first SAT score and my practice score the second time, I improved around 200 points on the writing section. It might be because I'm in Literary Analysis class because all we've been doing is writing and reading. Sometimes you just get the feeling that this mistake might be wrong but the other might be right. I'm also taking Anatomy and Physiology. It's interesting but it's a lot of memorization. It's mostly mind-blowing overall. This year is going to be really tough, but all I am thinking is that it might just be worth it.

I remember writing an essay for a scholarship about the Zombie apocalypse. There's actually a lot of rules of survival and it's hard to truly know what to do since it actually doesn't happen in real life. Anyways I'm using biology and anatomy to help me out with the essay. I'm really hoping that I can get a scholarship. I really want to graduate and go to college. I never gave it a second glance because the idea of college seemed so far away, but now it's all about this year and next year. Starting a new life with new people.

I also learned that my fellow students talked behind my back to a good friend of mine I've known since 2nd grade. I'm grateful he told me. I hate drama, so I'm never going to mention who it is or take action, but it does hurt. Especially when they don't even know you or talk to you. Girls are scary with words, but I'd rather be punched then cut by words. Bruises can heal, but words can't. Once it's out, it's out.

Does anyone like spooning with their fat cat? I do. He's so soft. Wow that sounds wrong, but everybody knows what I mean...Right? It's nice to have a hot furry thing against you. Not really in the summer, but cats are very sweet. They are very independent, but they do small actions that show that they care and that they love you. If you ask me, I just love love love my cat. I still want a pig, but my furry little friend will keep my stress low for another....10 years or 20 (hopefully. I wish this cat could live forever).

Lastly, if something is wrong with your computer, fix it right away. Because my dad used my name as a verb. Someone has Caied the computer...AKA Someone has F***ed up the computer. Great to know that my name means that for the computer. I do tend to break everything I touch...However, when my dad types, then press enter, it makes me cringe. He slams that enter key with all his might in his index finger. I really want my keyboard to last another 6 years xP. Goodnight Peeps. :3

Since forever

Well I haven't posted on this for months now... Looking at colleges lately and it's boring me! There's also summer reading I need to keep up with also. I was just told that people can make money from blogging which sounds really awesome!
Oh noooo it's Monday! I have to take out the trash ewwwww.
Also I turned 18 on June 26. I definitely don't feel different and my boyfriend is 17. People are joking that in a cradle robber and its legal rape. Oh his parents are cops which really makes me even more scared!!! I have to watch out what I do now but I have gotten his parents to love me.
I was thinking that I should make a YouTube account and talk about my life. Maybe give advice or answer questions or even do make up tutorials.
My cat wiggles his butt before he sits down wow what a cutie.

I have been so busy with school lately! My classes range from easy to hard (easiest class is Java and hardest class is probably Honors Algebra 2). The reason why I chose that Algebra is probably the hardest is because the teacher has a thick Vietnamese accent! I just cannot understand a word she says! It's alright though because I have so many people I can rely on to help me in situation as these! One of my friends (my closest guy friend) named Matt is just super smart! He's in all Honors, have AP classes with that and still does swimming! He's extremely nice also! I wish I was just like him! Even though he has low self-esteem problems, he's still a really good friend.
Also I did my very first Java programming a couple of days ago! It was just amazing to think I did it! It seems like such a high technology thing that only very intelligent people can do! I sent my friend Matt a code to invite him to a school dance (tried to make it fancy). He gave me a reply with a yes and a big happy face (sadly, they have not taught us how to do that yet!).
I also auditioned for Legally Blonde the musical at my school and got in as a dancer! That was so exciting! i couldn't believe it because I can't sing (so it was nice to know that dancing is what saved me). I'm probably going to be really busy and the boys were sort of hitting on me already. There's this freshman that I bet with about back flips and by tomorrow I have to prove to him I can and he will do the same as I. If I lose he gives me a cupcake. If I lose I have to give him a cupcake. The reason why we didn't bet a dollar was because I didn't want to give him a dollar! I'm a very frugal person!
I really need to finish writing this for the blog because I procrastinated all weekend instead of doing my homework! I must say it was all my fault on this because I should have done it right in the beginning so that I wouldn't have any homework. Thank god it isn't even the afternoon yet!
So hopefully I'm going to get some big muscles and abs because I have during school dance, after school dance, and the musical dance! Either this is a blessing or curse because where in all that time will I have a nap or time to do homework!?!?!
Also just as always, I need to talk about my kitty Romeo! So I'm taking a shower and I'm almost finish. I here this fast pounding on my door and I am thinking this is like those horror movies where the girl is taking a shower and will be killed really soon. So first it was a couple of knocks and I yelled that I was almost done. Then the fast pounding came in. I turned the knob to turn off the shower and asked "Who's there?" Soon I hear a little familiar bell. I opened the door and my mom is holding the cat. The cat walks over and stays in the bathroom. I resumed my shower for at least one more minute (that's all! All i needed to do was just condition my hair and I would have been done!) So now my cat is laying on the floor towel waiting for me.
I just want to say sorry to some people that I haven't been keeping you guys up on my day and I'm really sorry about it. Hope you forgive me :D

So I apparently haven't written in this for a pretty long time! I guess I just got pretty lazy because it was Summer. xP What I started to do was community service hours at Sacred Heart in Downtown San Jose. The first day, I asked this guy to open the freezer. The response was "The freezer?? Ahhuuhhhhhh". It wasn't in a sarcastic way, but in a creepy way. He was much taller with very lanky features. The second time I went, one of the guys wouldn't let me even do my job. That of course, made no sense to me at all. He wouldn't even let me carry and throw away an empty cardboard box. Just then, I was just going to carry these bell peppers to my station to put them into plastic bags, he wouldn't let me carry it. He said "Here, let me do that. You can't do that". So he picks it over one of his shoulders and said, "boy is this heavy!" In my mind... "Not really". So he asked where he should place it. I pointed it to the place where I was working. I still cannot believe that I was scolded for doing my job. Maybe he is sexist? anyways, around late July to early August, I went to Disneyland (boy was that an adventure). We chose to travel by car. I think I already mentioned about the first road trip to Disneyland with Sibling (G). It was eggs and bacon that morning. I remember, sibling M threw up all over herself and also a part of my bag. Then sibling G started to barf everywhere! She would barf once every hour (gross). So I never barfed the whole ride (which was miserable with the smell of the new car smell + the mixture of siblings G and M's barf!!). Anyways, the first day of being in Disneyland was more clear to me than any other day. The workers would have these big white plush gloves and waved as we entered. Or when Tigger started to blow kisses and B**** slapped me accidentally. I'm no masochist, but I kind of liked being slapped (even if it was unintentional of him/her). We then saw that depressed donkey from Winnie the Pooh. I gave him a big hug. When my face was against his costume, he gave me  a kiss. Now that was awarding (now you know who's my new favorite character)! The next week after going to Disneyland, I babysat Monday-Friday with sibling G. The child's name is Max. He is this very adorable two year old who never lies. Of course, he punches and yells, he can be extremely sweet. I remember I pretended that I was asleep, so he put's a blanket on me and covered my feet with a pillow (because there was not enough of the blanket to cover my feet). He would laugh and smile a lot (looks very cherubic). He gave me this nickname. Guess what it is? Cookie? Sweetie? Pie? NONE OF THOSE. He named me BoBo. So when my mother put a picture of me up on Facebook, his mother showed him the picture. He goes and points to me saying, "That's BoBo!" Even though he made me tired to heck, he would give me a squeeze (a hug, not another thing! Get your mind out of the gutters). So the next week, I had school right there and then. My honors algebra two homework took me two and a half hours to do. By the time I finished all my homework, it was around 10. I wonder why I have so much time right now to even write all this! I hope you like this very long update some of you been waiting for. Also excuse me for some misspells or grammatical errors! Just a highschooler after all!

7-19, Thursday: Went to diving. Little boy that was 8 made up a game where he steps on peoples foot and calls it footsies and totally flirt on me. Cute, but a little odd. He is able to do the middle splits while I can only do one of my splits.
7-20 Friday: Sibling J's birthday. He just turned 13! Yay! Had ice cream instead of cake. He cannot eat gluten. Also the youngest sibling from the whole bunch. Also went to the food trucks with sibling M, G, and M(2). Had an awesome tofu hamburger and got soda.
7-21 Saturday: Sibling J and R's pool birthday party. Did not do much at all! Also went a little shopping. Don't remember what I shopped for with my family.
7-22 Sunday: Went to the mall
7-23Monday:Went to the mall to buy stuff for the trip to Disneyland! My sibling G is trying this hair dye that will last for 28 washings! Cannot wait how it will turn out. I hope she doesn't dislike it! We have a lot of leftover soda from my brother's bday party! I want to have a birthday party too, but I keep forgetting to mention it and plan it!!! Now I am cleaning my room!

Thursday, July 19, 2012

Today I went to diving class! It was odd because this eight year old was having fun flirting with me in innocent ways. Like stepping on my feet and calling it "footsies". He also laid on the steps and said the only way I'd be able to get on it is if I had to step on or lay on him? So I went around him and just got on the plank. While I was more in a fetal position of getting on the plank, he hit my leg. If he was taller, he would have accidentally hit my butt. He also talked a lot during stretching. So I believe he likes playfully flirting with girls (or I should start to wear one pieces instead of two...But I don't want to have weird tan lines...) Since I am going to Disneyland in two weeks, I don't want a one piece tan because I remembered how odd I looked at Hawaii last year. Also tomorrow is my brother J's birthday! So excited for him because he's finally turning 13. I remember my 13th birthday! It was such a disaster! I actually went to the hospital because of a dehydration problem! Apparently, I cried because I didn't get a present from my sister's friend because she attended my birthday party and gave a gift to my sister G. So Sibling M's friend named Erin saw me crying and told me that it was bad luck to cry on my birthday. That was apparently so true because hours later, I felt delusional, tired, and thirsty. They took me into the emergency room. I told my parents that a little boy kicked me in the stomach at the pool area. The doctors took scans and thought my appendix exploded (not like I really need that organ). It ended up that nothing was wrong with me except of being dehydrated and kept me there until the next morning. I remember the CAT scan doctor said "I am very honored to spend the rest of your birthday doing this scan with you". I'm thinking like...WTF, honor my ass. Anyways, that was the ending of my 13th birthday!

I keep forgetting to update this, so I'll try to write posts during the morning or around noon. So around Sunday, I did not wake up seeing my cat next to me or around my feet. :( It must have also been a boring day if I didn't even really remember what I did! So maybe around the times I didn't write (which was a couple of days) were pretty boring days if you asked me. Actually yesterday, I turned into an application for Pizza Hut! Also I got model offerings too! Anyways, I usually model locally because it's something that is fun and not something I want to become when I get older. Also I went to the mall with my family for fun. It was nice to just hang out and not be a hermit in my room! I am actually going to go out again for jeans that fit my non-existing butt! My sister G is also coming along to find jeans too. I'll write again later today to make up my laziness! Also I think if I write in here everyday, then my cat will sleep with me at nights again because he's been on his cat hammock more than anything.

Sunday, July 15, 2012

This morning, I woke up feeling my cat's stiletto feet walking across my stomach! Great way of waking up, right? I remember eating a bagel with lots of cream cheese and watching my brother J playing "Army of Two" on the PS3. There was a choice of letting this Asian little boy to walk on the battle field so he could get us a gun or we could have chosen to let him stay put. I recommended my brother to choose the option of letting the boy wander and get the gun. Sadly, that choice got the little boy shot and killed. Later in the game, this odd looking man drags the boy's body on a pile of other dead people and the odd looking man uses a flame thrower to discard the pile of bodies. I have no idea why, but I felt sick watching that part of the scene. I was also playing the same exact game with a friend named Michael. We didn't even get that far into the game. Now, if I do go to his house to hang out again, I'm going to tell him to disallow the little boy to get himself killed! Anyways, going back to my day! I went on the computer and watched interesting youtube videos of the tarantula guy again. By the time it was 3 P.M., I was told to get ready for the cabana awards night dinner. I asked my mom what to wear. She told me to wear something casual. So I wore black sweats and an Adam Lambert T-shirt. While I was practically wearing my pajamas, my whole family was wearing something casual. At the actual event, the boys wore casual and the girls were wearing dresses. So my sister G went to the mall with her friend named Holly until 3 P.M. I also learned that sibling G's friend was also going to attend the dinner party. My sister M was in San Francisco with her coworkers to just have fun. She came back way later. So I was the sister that just sat on her butt all day! I also remembered that it was Sunday today, but later in the day I thought it was Saturday during dinner. So we ate dinner and my sisters, the friend, and I went home early just to hang out. Turns out Holly has very hostile pets compared to my family's pets. She would say how her cat and dog would bite and would seem cute, but a little negative. She wanted to just take my cat home with her because of how lenient my cat was. I guess my cat must be docile and dependable because of the way I taught him how to love? Then again, he used to dislike how I would dress him up, put him in the harness, or take him outside. I love how I talk about my cat in every post.

Saturday, July 14, 2012

Today I had to wake up at 6:00 A.M. to the Cabana Championship swim meet. Many people believe, "Oh so then, you are on the team?" For me, that is not the case. I used to do competitive swimming, but I I quit because it was not a sport I had any particular passion for. I only went because this is the last cabana meet for the whole year for my younger siblings. I went to support them. At first it was just cold with many geese wandering around at the park. We set up; and from there, the meet started. I huddled up with layers of sweaters and sweat pants. I made sure not a piece of skin was shown. Of coarse, this was a big mistake to do. The thing is, at a swim meet, there are much clothing that is scattered around the area. So many people believed I looked like just a heap of clothing. I remember my brother tried to walk over me and tripped. There were also these two men talking to each other (as they were behind me). One of the men was showing an example of diving to his friend. So by showing the example, he  kept kneeling down repeatedly to my level and kept touching my back without knowing. I turned my body around to see him. He looked shocked and turned the other way with his friend. So people, swimming has it's benefits! Good thing about swimming can include friendship, eating a lot, fun, cooling down, an activity, wear a bathing suit all day, and take your clothing off without being judged! The bad things are waking up in the morning, being cold in the morning, have to deal with any bad weather (except lightning; if it's lightning, then just run out of the pool as fast as you can because, nobody likes seeing a fried swimmer in the water), getting stepped on, wrapped around a towel and being wet, getting dry skin, and camping in and then out of the place in the end of the day. Even though I took a nap that lasted maybe a couple of hours, I was able to cheer on my siblings M, R, and J. Sibling M is the youngest sister who is 16. She will turn 17 on November 25. Sibling R is the oldest  of adopted boys who just turned 13 on July 5th. Sibling J is the youngest of the adopted boys and of the male persuasion of the 3 brothers. He is also the sibling that is just an amazing swimmer! We all believe he's going to go into the Olympics one day! He is 12 and turning 13 on July 20th! It was a nice day spending a whole day with the family (even though I hate the sport).

Friday, July 13, 2012

I forgot to make a post yesterday, so I'll make an extra long post explaining today's day and yesterday. So yesterday, I watched youtube videos, went to diving practice, and hung out with my sister (G). The reason why I put her initials instead of her real name is because I don't think she or my siblings would like me to mention her or them in general in the blog. So when I was at diving today, the younger divers thought I was 13. I laughed and told them that I was 17. So apparently, little kids think by the time someone is 17, they'll have their driver's license. I told them I was a terrible driver because I almost hit a police car. I scared my dad so badly, that he wouldn't let me drive him back home. So now the little kids think I'm a scary driver and never want to get in the car with me. I also did stretching and exercising with my sister (G) when I came home from diving.
So today, my mother woke me up (actually she wakes me up everyday because I sleep until 12 P.M.). I remember taking my cat in my arms and going back to sleep. I believe it was 10 A.M. when I started to get breakfast. I went and made macaroni and cheese. I never cook, so it was a nice change to have eaten something I made (and this time I didn't get a stomach ache). I also promised my parents I'd go to the swim meet today because there's a family relay of 100 free (This means there are 4 people and each person is doing 25 yrds). I took my summer reading book and propped myself in the team room to read. Apparently, while I was reading...My parents thought I ran away. They went around the school looking for me for an hour. After reading 5 chapters of the book, I started to get extremely tired and cold, so I went to my mother and tapped on her to complain. She was a little upset when she saw me and asked me where I was. I told her I was in the team room and asked if she checked there. Of coarse, she and my father didn't. I wasn't upset at all because I saw this as a big misunderstanding. So everything got calmed down. I went to warm up in the pool and did the relay race. Guess what place we got?? We got first place and got a $10 dollar Jamba Juice card! Not bad for a competitive swimmer that quit swimming 2 years ago, huh? :) We then went home and ate dinner. That's my whole day so far for today! Hope you enjoy reading this!

Today has been such an unproductive day! All I remember was that I had an oriental top ramen (tasted gross), watched tarantula videos and took a nap with my kitty. I wonder what I had for lunch. Maybe I didn't eat lunch... I had a quesadilla for dinner and watched Rizzoli and Isles...Oh, also I had 2 popsicles. My younger sister annoyed me today. She bothered me a lot because I was sitting next to mom while we watched TV. She already had eaten her orange popsicle and tried to poke me with it! She did other stuff that just bothered me like whispering into my younger brother's ears and insulted me in different ways. I swear, our two younger brothers who were adopted from Vietnam are like her minions! Oh, if people did not know before, my two sisters and I were adopted 3 different times from China, but all of us are all the same age. My two brothers who are from Vietnam were adopted together while they were a couple of months old. People at school usually think my sisters and I are triplets! Of coarse, we aren't we don't even look a like! Oh! I almost forgot. So I had to take my cat to the bathroom with me; the reason is because if I don't, he starts pounding on the door and cries. So after I was done and washed my hands, I left. When I noticed that my cat wasn't around me, I went back into the bathroom to see what he was doing. It turned out he started to drink out of the toilet. The thing he does is, before he drinks his water, he has to put a paw into it while he drinks. I have no idea why he does that. Anyways, when I told him to get the @#$* off (just kidding, I didn't actually said that, haha), he took his paw and started to wave the water off his paw. Sadly, the water started to hit me and I was so grossed out. Mostly for only 2 reasons. One of the reasons is because he kisses me and of coarse the other reason is because it's out of the toilet!!! Anyways, I'm going to end it there :).

Today, I woke up with a terrible stomach ache! I must admit, I did eat a two day old baked potato (probably not the best choice of breakfast, but..Hey, I'm a teen!) I have probably not told many people about this, but I hate cooking. So people should be very scared if they ask me to go into the kitchen and cook them something, because I'll likely put cat laxatives in the food. I had to give my cat laxatives once because he had a little piece of string that was maybe a cm long...Sticking out of his butt. After giving him the laxatives, he went to his litter at most in 2 minutes! If I'm eating food, it's out of the fridge, snack items, or anything I didn't make. Anyways, back to the rest of my day... I went grocery shopping with my mom and siblings. I was getting almost everything on the list until I looked at the last item on it. Mic cheese? I was very confused because my mother wrote the title of "Produce and Dairy". So I assumed mac n cheese because right across the produce and dairy isle in Safeway was rows of different kind of mac n cheeses! The thought that my mother wanted to make mac n cheese for dinner wasn't such a far fetch idea. When I put all the items into my mother's cart, a sibling of mine took out one of the boxes of mac n cheese and asked why I got it. I told her that's what was on the list. My mom looked at the list she gave me and said, "It's Mex. cheese, as in Mexican cheese". It didn't bother me that I had to go back and find that, but my siblings goes through that cheese in less than 5 days! They are like piranhas! Always making and eating quesadillas (I used to pronounce the L's in the word)! So after grocery shopping, we went to get food from Loving Hut. This place has the most amazing vegan/vegetarian food ever! I bought the pad thai; which was so amazing to eat when I got home. After Lunch, I had to do diving. Not scuba diving. It's the one where you have to jump and do tricks/ flips in the air. That's the most exciting thing that happened today! Also watched my cat attacking a baby spider (which was such a fail). I wanted my sweet Romeo to kill the spider and eat it! Instead, I had to use his paw to squish it. I tried to get him to eat the spider, but somehow it got stuck on his paw. He tried to flick it off and I'm afraid the dead spider corpse is possibly on my leg or clothing (p.s. I am scared of spiders).
I have no idea how to start writing this blog! Well...I guess I can start saying that it is 12 A.M. and I was unable to go to sleep. So I tip toed to my parent's room to ask my mother for something to knock me to sleep. I started to tap her and called her name "..Mom....Mommmmm." I guess I scared her because she jumped a little. She walked over with me to her bathroom and gave me this pill that's a size of a beetle(Ok...Maybe I over-exaggerated that...By a lot). So yeah, I am awake and waiting for this medicine to work!!! Also I made this for the blog background, but apparently it isn't working!!! It said that it had to be 1800x1600 and the kb had to be 300! I thought this looked pretty awesome. :) If anybody can comment and give me some advice, I'd really appreciate it since I'm just a newbie!!!
